• NX CAD Although basic part, assembly, and drawing creation and editing capabilities are utilized in this class, it is primarily focused on managing NX CAD data in Teamcenter. It is not an NX CAD training class. Activities have been created with simplified geometric examples to streamline CAD operations

Teamcenter® Integration for NX Users addresses using the integration of NX® CAD software and Teamcenter product data management to create and manage NX parts and other engineering data. Hands-on activities demonstrate various methods of creating, revising, finding, viewing, and managing product data. This course is NX CAD Data Management training. You work with simplified geometric items in order to focus on the aspect of managing the development and life cycle of those items. Effective use of the NX Teamcenter Navigator resource bar and other Teamcenter interfaces is emphasized.        

Lernziele:

• learn the basics of managing NX CAD data in the Teamcenter product data
  management environment sufficiently to support the activities of designers,
  drafters, and checkers


• understand the concepts of product life cycle management (PLM) and collaborative product
  data management (cPDM)


• start Teamcenter Integration for NX and access the Online Help system.


• learn how NX data is created, stored, accessed, edited, and shared using Teamcenter
  Integration for NX


• become familiar with the Teamcenter capabilities available in NX (File New, File Save As
  and Teamcenter Navigator user interface)


• understand the structure of NX data managed by Teamcenter Integration for NX


• understand the steps required for successfully sharing data and working in a shared assignment
